Principal accountabilities
Responsible to produce and dry salt in raw form by operating the evaporator salt producing and drying equipment
Operating and maintaining all tank equipment associated with boiler room and all levels of the evaporator room
Operating and maintaining all equipment necessary to screen, process Dry salt and provide product to the packaging lines
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties assignments
Required qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-part employer.
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
Must be able to operate machinery.
High School diploma or Equivalent.
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Preferred Qualification
Prior experience in production related work.
Prior experience with inventory systems
Working Knowledge of MS office software with an emphasis on Excel and Word
