BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solicits, develops, and services a wide variety of professional banking customers, with particular emphasis on serving high net worth individuals and their related businesses. Provides full-service banking including loans, deposits, and cash management. Scope of duties includes extending credit (primarily consumer with some commercial), providing deposit related services, offering financial and bank advice and maintaining customer awareness of services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Directly manage an assigned group of customers, maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Maintains and services existing accounts consistent with departmental objectives or profitability and credit quality.
- Reviews and analyzes the assets of the customers and works closely with our Wealth Management Group to provide customized and expert investment guidance.
- Performs community involvement activities.
- Establishes and negotiates terms and conditions with borrower.
- Approves or rejects loans.
- Prepares and presents loan requests over lending limit to senior management or loan committee.
- Ensures compliance to applicable regulations and keeps up to date with changes in federal regulations and lending requirements.
- Monitors loan repayment and takes appropriate collection action.
- Actively participates in new business development programs.
- Originates and follows through on new business contacts.
- May administer other types of loans.
- Cross sells other bank products.
- May provide financial advice to customers and perform other customer service-related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred, and a minimum of 2 to 5 years banking experience (preferably lending experience) and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Windows XP, MS Word & MS Excel required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to ready, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures, and perform spreadsheet analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems. Analytical ability required for a variety of lending and depository situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
