Under the direction of the Financial Clearance Department, responsible to facilitate the patient pre-encounter registration flow, including such activities as gathering demographic information insurance verification, identifying financial responsibilities, and sponsorship data educates patient on coordination of coverage and other insurance issues appropriately collecting co-payment over the phone. May also be responsible for benefit verification, and admission notification functions during patient admission/or prior to services. Contacts patients prior to services to ensure all information is accurate for scheduled service. Position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others. Work Experience: 1 year customer service experience. 1 year insurance experience within 5 years.
