Parts Store Keeper

BT Commercial Ltd, leaders in the air-conditioning, Heating and Ventilation and Photo Voltaic sector is recruiting a Parts Store Keeper on a full-time basis. The company is experiencing growth and BT Commercial is looking for a suitable candidate to form part of the team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains a running inventory of parts orders and supplies.
- Dispenses parts to technicians.
- Identifies parts re-ordering method improvement according to usage.
- Purchase standard items.
- Receives and inspects incoming shipments for the correct quantity and quality of materials.
- Obtains quotes on major expenditures and obtains approval for non-routine purchases.
- Maintains knowledge of pricing, changes in parts, and technical service bulletins through collaboration with purchasing, sales and after-sales.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software such as CRM.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in the Store keeping department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of HVAC parts and other products.
- Proficient with or able to quickly learn the inventory system.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.
- Knowledge of Stocktaking procedures.
Education and Experience:
- At least two years of experience in warehouse, parts section or similar facility highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift boxes and other materials.
