Operator – Assembly

Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
Assembles processed parts into finished lighting products, and performs quality review while handling parts (both prior to and after parts are processed).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assembles processed parts and places parts on racks or in packaging
2. Performs quality review of parts and finished products during assembly process, and separates out bad parts
3. Keeps work area clean, swept and free of dust, and maintains good 6S within the department
4. Ensures that the scrap basket is emptied in regular intervals
5. Locates and brings processed parts to work station for assembly, as needed
6. Assists department personnel in clean-up operations
7. Assists in machine part changes, as needed
8. Ensures that all policies, practices, procedures, and safety rules are adhered to in the department
9. Works on sub-assembly and rebuilds, as needed
10. Performs other duties as assigned

11. High School Diploma or GED
12. 0 to 2 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment
13. Color and normal or corrected vision
14. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
a. Organizational and planning skills
b. Communications skills
a. Interpersonal skills ? ability to work and function in a team environment
