Office Assistant, Womens Health at Glasgow
Expired Job Description :ChristianaCare is looking for an Office Assistant.
ChristianaCare Womens Health at Glasgow is located at 2600 Glasgow Avenue in Newark, Delaware. At ChristianaCare, womens health is our priority, and so is giving our patients the safest and most effective care when they need it using the best practices and technology available.
You will join a fantastic team consisting of four providers, two registered nurses, two medical assistants and one office assistant.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
- Currently, no weekends or holidays. Always subjected to change.
Job duties & responsibilities:
- Schedules appointments.
- Answers multi line telephones and retrieves accurate messages.
- Manages front desktop.
- Collects payments according to insurance requirements.
- Applies ICD9 & CPT4 codes to encounter forms for billing purposes.
- Performs outreach calls for the team.
- Interacts between physicians, staff, and patients to provide accurate communication and customer service.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Medical receptionist or medical assistant degree preferred but not required.
- Experience in a medical office setting or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
