Office Assistant/Customer Service Support Job in USA Container Co., Inc.
Our company is looking for an Office Assistant to handle clerical tasks and assist the customer service representatives in that location. You will be handling daily data entry of customer orders, incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting customers, carriers and visitors, as well as managing files, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Handling incoming calls and other communications.
- Managing filing system.
- Recording information as needed.
- Greeting carriers and visitors
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and data entry.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
- Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
- Maintaining supply inventory.
- Creating, maintaining, and entering customer order information into databases.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience as an office assistant or in related field. Warehousing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Sufficiently computer-literate to be able to learn how to utilize a variety of inventory management systems
- Ability to write clearly and work in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle/prioritize multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Great communication skills.
- Have a valid driver license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
