Hiring Immediately – We are hiring Machine Operators for our dynamic, client in LaVergne, TN.
Pay rate: $16 per hour – TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY!

Summary:
- Assembly Machine – position assumes the operation of different machines to produce metal parts to assemble component parts to customer specifications using various hand tools and methods. Tasks could include loading and unloading a paint line, sanding metal parts, minor assembly, inspection, and/or packing.
- Press Brake Operator – the position requires the operator to set up and operate all press brakes, including numerical control press brake, to bend metal to dimensions and angles. Verify dimensions of work piece using a template, scale or other precision measuring instruments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Insert and align work piece against fixtures and stops and activate machine
- Observe operation of the machine to ensure proper function
- Inspect parts and ensure they are being produced to blueprint or operator instructions
- Maintain machine and tools for good operating condition
- Clean excess grease, oil, dirt, dust and remove scrape as required
- Complete any necessary documentation
- Has the authority and responsibility to report non-conforming product
- Read, plan and make calculations for machine operation
- Sets up and operate the press brake to bend, form, and straighten
- Determine and select dies for operation
- Plan sequence of operations applying knowledge of physical properties of metal
- Set up dies and support equipment for operation
- Run press brake and produce parts as required
- Verify final product from press brake and perform all final activities
Qualifications:
- Mechanically adept
- Attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
- Able to read all precision measuring instructions
- Able to enter basic information into company IT systems
- Able to read all precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret specifications
