- Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment in a safe and efficient way in order to avoid accidents, undue maintenance and repair work.
- Feed hoppers, crushing plants, portable plants, stockpile and load trucks in efficient and productive manner.
- Assists with plant maintenance and operation.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in operating a loader is required.
- Must be attentive and committed to safety.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to move at least 50 pounds.
- Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions.
- May frequently be required to walk over uneven ground.
- May frequently be required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time.
- Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements.
- Must frequently be able to lift and/or carry 0 – 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. May occasionally lift items over their head.
- May frequently be required to climb up and down equipment via steps and/or short vertical ladders.
