The Eastern Oklahoma Library System is seeking two (2) part-time library assistants for the Muskogee Public Library.
Qualifications: Associates Degree or two years of college. Two years of related library experience preferred. Strong customer service skills required along with work experience using computers and other digital devices. Must be able to handle monies in an appropriate manner and operate a cash register. Must be able to explain policies to patrons.
Assists with the development, planning and presentation of library programs. Will perform a variety of tasks which may include reference, reader’s advisory and outreach. Other duties as assigned.
15-19 hours per week, includes some evenings and Saturdays. $14.79 an hour.
Background check required.
