Pay Range: Judicial Specialist 1 $16.511 – $20.639/Hourly Compliance & Closeout or as assigned
Essential Tasks: This is a temporary position. Under general supervision will be responsible for assisting with day to day projects, tasks, and
activities needed with in the assigned division provide clerical, technical support, office functions, and maybe assigned specific responsibilities
related to assigned division which may include but not limited to fiscal, case management, human resources operation, and clerical business of the
Court. Provide support to the division as assigned and as directed by the judge, supervisors or managers. Enter case data or general information into
an automated case management or general system. Prepares and distributes materials, documents, reports, copies, and agendas. May answer phones,
provide customer service, and greet visitors and other employees. Maintain filing systems, archive files, and physical files. May use electronic
databases to manage and track documents operate a copy machine, scanner, and other general office equipment. Use a court assigned computer to
communicate using email, general computer programs, and other clerical skills. Have the ability to work with others and to work under stress. May
perform other duties as assigned to meet the operational needs of the Court.
Qualifications: Education: A high school diploma or GED. Education Substitution: None. Experience: One (1) year of experience in general
secretarial or a directly related field. Education Substitution: Attainment of the Judicial Studies Certificate will substitute for one (1) year of
experience or additional post-secondary education in a related field may substitute for up to one (1) ear of experience. Thirty (30) semester hours
equals one (1) year of experience. Post-offer background history and fingerprint check is required.
Working Conditions: The following functions are representative, but not all-inclusive of the work environment and physical demands an employee
may expect to encounter in performing tasks assigned to this job. Work is performed in an office or court setting. A valid drivers license and travel
may be required. The assigned work schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. The employee must regularly interact positively
with co-workers, clients, the public, and judges and justices.
