Job Description :

ROLE:

Responsible for providing end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance. Relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedure and instructions to identify, research and resolve technical problems presented through Help Desk tickets. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network.
  • Perform PC setups as outlined in the PC Hardening Checklist
  • Collaborate with other staff to recreate problems in the test environment
  • Verify with the requester that the issue has been resolved and update the ticketing system
  • Communicate plan, progress, and issues in a timely manner
  • Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement
  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
  • Ability to complete multiple simultaneous projects in a timely manner
  • Communications with all areas of the credit union regarding system status, planned upgrades, maintenance windows, and other communications as deemed necessary.
  • Performs testing and upgrades as new versions are available and communicates changes with management and organizational staff.
  • Coordinates with other departmental staff to ensure that Local Area Network and Wide Area operations minimally impact, or are minimally impacted by, member facing operations.
  • Assists with training by working with trainers to educate and inform credit union staff prior to updates being performed.
  • Maintains a professional and businesslike appearance at all times, and interacts with all staff and membership in a professional and businesslike manner.


Experience:

One to three years of similar or related experience
