Join BAE Systems’ Intelligence and Security sector and be a part of a team who provides critical intelligence research and analysis that helps keep our country safe. We are searching for a Operational Planning and Engagement Manager to provide and oversee high-value analysis, assessment, and mission support to US Army operations. In this role, the candidate will:
  • Oversee the creation of assessments for the current strategic and operational planning efforts to verify concepts, capabilities, technologies, solutions have been identified and incorporated for effective mission support.
  • Manage planning tasks across the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC), such as the development of base plans, annexes, appendices, and staff estimates.
  • Interpret higher authority direction, command guidance, and strategies to accomplish MI priorities as reflected in the operational goals and missions.
  • Recommend strategies to intelligence planners and Commanders at multiple levels.
  • Brief senior personnel and officers as needed.

Required Education, Experience, &amp Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in intelligence analysis, international security, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with intelligence and information issues within the IC.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting US Army operations.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams of analysts of various sizes and skill levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network within the local customer base.

Preferred Education, Experience, &amp Skills
  • Master’s degree in intelligence analysis, international security, or related field.
  • First-hand experience working closely with national governance boards, national and defense committees, and working groups.
  • Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing intelligence methodologies and approaches to enhance mission capabilities
