Daily routines will include operating overhead cranes to safely unload, move, and position materials, components, and products. You will also be expected to load complete products or major components on to trucks.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Candidate will be expected to perform a variety of material lifting and moving duties, such as loading finished products and major components for shipping, unloading incoming shipments of stores, processed material, and stock, moving material in process within work area as necessary for process, and selecting proper slings, chains, cables, or ropes to move various types of loads
Secondary Duties
- These include making daily reports of crane conditions, operating industrial lift truck as required, and performing routine equipment inspection
- Additional duties as required
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work under general direction of supervisor
- Candidate must have general knowledge of crane operations and rigs
- Must be familiar with various materials/products and their lifting procedures
