High School Spanish Teacher

Green Mountain Union High School is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and dedicated professional to teach Spanish for the FY 24-25 school year. Qualified candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold a valid VT Educator license. The ideal candidate will also have relevant teaching experience that demonstrates the following:

– Demonstrated knowledge of classroom management and instructional skills

– The use of differentiated instruction to support all students

– The use of formative assessment to provide student feedback and to adjust lesson delivery

– The use of technology to transform teaching and learning

– Use data to drive instruction and improve teaching and learning

– Commitment to TRSU High Leverage Instructional Practices

– Dedication to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for students

– Excellent teaching, organizational, planning, written and oral communication, and collaboration skills

– Commitment to the success of ALL students, and ability to understand and teach to the various learning styles of students

– The ability to effectively engage students

Must hold Highly Qualified status. Bachelor’s Degree Required.

Shall hold the appropriate state license and endorsements in their area(s) of instruction.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills evidence of positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Classroom teacher experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,990.00 – $92,790.00 per year
