What You will be Doing in this Role:

The Gift Shop Manager is responsible for the successful business operations of a unique and high-quality store with an in-person and online presence. Primary responsibilities include providing exceptional day-to-day supervision of staff and operations, administrative management, and leading a team in creating an improved and memorable customer service experience. The Gift Shop Manager establishes short- and long-term operational goals while delivering on sales and profit targets. Serves as a buyer, manages inventory and handles merchandising and marketing. Collaborates with relevant partners from across the organization including Operations, Finance, Marketing and Volunteer Services.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing or a related major preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management and operations required
• Proven experience of at least 3 years of experience supervising staff or volunteers required.
• Two years or more of experience in a non-profit and/or health care setting a plus.
