GARDEN CENTER PLANT CARE

We love what we do and are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking passionate people to help with general garden center duties and retail customer interactions during this upcoming season (April – December). Green Industry experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Full Job Description Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist retail customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Keep plants watered and healthy
- Assist customers in finding the right plant for the right location
- Assist customers to understand proper plant care & maintenance
- Unloading trucks, restocking, organizing & rotating inventory & displays
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment in and around the garden center.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
• Knowledge of southern N.H. plant material, green industry experience and/or a degree in Horticulture, Master Gardener, a plus • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work some weekend days and in all weather conditions during the peak season .
- Some overtime may be required
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs on a consistent basis
