Food Service Worker

This position prepares and cooks large quantities of food for hospital patients and cafeteria service line for visitors and staff.

• Clean, cut, and cook meat, fish, or poultry.
• Cook foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served.
• Clean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
• Apportion and serve food to facility residents, employees, or patrons.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment.
• Take inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Bake breads, rolls, and other pastries.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Experience working in an industrial kitchen setting a plus.

Must be able to pass a background check and complete a pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
