The Business Chat Representative is a new role for T-Mobile and is an excellent position for anyone interested in working with business customers who visit T-Mobile business websites and working closely with our Telesales and Field Sales teams to drive customers to T-Mobile.
As a team member, youll be a key contributor in T-Mobile’s revenue engine by being the first point of contact for all web chat based inquiries and leads. As a Business Chat Representative, you will cultivate and quickly respond to web inquiries from both existing and prospective customers. You will connect qualified potential customers with T-Mobile Account Executives and/or Business Telesales Representatives.

This position is fully remote, candidates are required to have a broadband connection and router at home with a minimum speed of 15 mbps. Candidates must be able to work within 50 feet of the router.

***While this position is fully remote, candidates must live within driving distance of Louisville to attend any in person meetings.

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Responding in real time to web leads coming through the T-Mobile for Business website and all applicable pages.
  • Responsible for consulting with customers to obtain their needs, answer any questions they have, gather relevant customer information, and sending a lead to the appropriate department.
  • Use knowledge of business solutions to best solve customer needs.
  • Manage multiple incoming chats and ensure timely responses.
  • Researching leads, entering leads in Salesforce CRM and assigning them to the appropriate sales person.

Qualifications :

  • 1 year customer service experience

  • WPM of 45+

  • Technology savvy

  • Nearly perfect grammar

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to learn and follow processes thoroughly

  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management

  • A mature, self-motivated person with a positive, professional attitude

  • High capacity to operate effectively in a new role

  • Bilingual preferred but not required
