Employment Specialist (Seasonal Temporary)
Come be a part of a fun, close-knit team of hardworking students and staff at BYU¿s Student Employment office! We are a hiring center for all students who work on campus. You¿ll help staff BYU departments for the next academic year, and earn some extra money for the holidays.
This is a seasonal, temporary, non-student position, for up to 40 hours a week to help with our winter semester hiring.
Start date: December 11th. The job will run through the end of January, 2024. (subject to change).
Hourly wage: $16.00/hour
What youll do in this position:
- Process student hires.
- Help student employees complete the federal I-9 form.
- Answer student employment questions.
- Perform other projects as assigned.

Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
Preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Keyboard and 10-key proficiency
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to handle repetition and interruptions
- Work well under pressure
- Experience with Excel
- Basic Office Skills
