Early Childhood Screen Coordinator

Position: Early Childhood Screening Coordinator

Hours: This position is 20 hours per week. The hours are flexible week, for 180 calendar days.

Salary: $30.00 hr

Qualifications: 4 year degree in an Early Childhood Field or Nursing Experience

• Completing hearing and vision screenings
• ?Complete Child Development Screener
• Completing a health interview
• Reviewing medical information
• Summarizing findings
• Reviewing results of screening with families.
• Tracking screening data &amp following up on referrals
• Making referrals to Early Childhood Special Education
• Providing the families additional health and school related resources
• Scheduling appointments

Skills Needed:

• Understanding of google calendar, documents, and forms
• ?Ability to work with young children and people from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work with an interpreter
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of community and school resources
• Ability to track data and enter data into the Student Information System
