The Culture and Staff Development Ambassador leads and shapes employee cultural strategy to create exceptional staff experiences in concert with our mission of providing exceptional care and superior service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: :
Develops and delivers high-impact leadership, cultural and retention initiatives focused on performance management, team engagement and team retention.
Utilizes biannual employee survey data to recognize engagement opportunities, leads manager’s action planning, and sustains process by deploying focused surveys to measure improvement.
Establishes reward & recognition initiatives that encourages and reinforce behaviors that demonstrate a commitment to BHSH’s mission, vision and values, patient experience and high reliability goals — creating a culture of gratefulness and recognition.
Oversees and leads the critical “front of house”, including the Admissions teams. Develops and implements structured customer experience and customer service programs and protocols to enhance our guests’ experiences.
Collaborates with leaders driving strategies that assure growth of employee engagement at the operating units and departments resulting in improved retention and engagement.
Utilizes data from exit interviews, stay-interviews, leader coaching sessions and new hire meetings to recommend and implement solutions to retention.
Partners with the Human Resources and department managers to help continually improve pre-boarding, on boarding and orientation for employees and leaders
Drives a culture of listening and follow through and builds feedback mechanisms into staff engagement activities and internal communications to enable employees to have an opportunity for dialogue.
Assists in developing employee recognition strategies to include reviewing, evaluating and making recommendations for system and departmental recognition programs.
Develops and delivers training sessions for staff and leaders to reinforce culture, service and engagement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: : Bachelor’s degree Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: : Five years or more of demonstrable experience in a culture, engagement and/or staff experience role. Experience is healthcare preferred.
