Position Overview:

This position is responsible for reviewing ED Chart documentation in Epic, abstracting pertinent information accurately, and correct entry of information into Optum Lynx. Researches and makes necessary changes/corrections to patient accounts with zero charges, high dollar charges, charges in error, and omissions to charges.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent education/experience


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets using pivot tables, formulas and graphics.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and listening skills.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to represent organization in a professional and positive manner.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks in order to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel in the organization.

Pay Range is $28.25 to $40.95 / hour. Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas Pay Range is $25.42 to $36.86 / hour. Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah Pay Range is $22.60 to $32.76 / hour.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
