This Specialist role is a great opportunity to supports the Benefits Team in the execution of the benefit programs– interfacing with vendors, consultants, Service Center, Legal, Insurance Accounting, Tax and US B&C.
***This role is NOT remote, must be local to our Chicago HQ**
Must be fully vaccinated (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) for COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
§ Manages the Total Compensation Statement with third-party vendor, Alight Solutions – facilitates updates to data requirements with the Total Rewards team
§ Manages Back Up Care Program and vendor relationship
§ Manages Discount Program and vendor relationship
§ Supports the benefit communications strategy and partners with HR and vendors to update materials as appropriate
§ Maintains health and financial plan dashboards
§ Helps facilitate the implementation of Health, Welfare and Retirement programs and/or benefit changes with all key departments (Accounting, Legal, Tax, Service Center, Payroll)
§ Assists with annual enrollment and plan renewals for all benefits
§ Participates in employee on-boarding and off-boarding activities, as needed
§ Processes and manages team’s invoices, as applicable
§ Develops a working knowledge of each vendors’ policies and procedures that impact our insurance plans
§ Conducts ongoing and two way discussions with each insurance vendor regarding the operations of our insurance plans (status meetings, annual reviews)
§ Leads ad hoc benchmarking requests and delivers results to Benefits Director
§ Stays familiar with trends and capabilities of different firms in the insurance plan marketplace
