Attractions Operator – AREA15 ($16/HR)

The Attractions Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable operation of AREA15 Attractions by conducting daily safety checks, selling tickets, enforcing safety policies, and providing an exceptional visitor experience. Ride Operators are instrumental in maintaining the safety and enjoyment of our guests in a dynamic, vibrant, and innovative entertainment environment. The selected candidate will be required to achieve and maintain operation certification for all activations (on-the-job training provided).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Safely load and unload attractions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Enforce ride restrictions.
• Sell tickets following established policies and procedures.
• Verify tickets and booking times at each attraction.
• Greet visitors to AREA15 and the attractions.
• Provide visitors with information regarding AREA15.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts.
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards.
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and health regulations.
• Exhibit ART! (AREA15’s service standards) at all times.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work in a stimulating environment subject to varying levels of sound, crowds and smoke/haze.
• Must be comfortable with heights.
• Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun exposure and varying types of weather conditions.
• Previous experience in an amusement setting is preferred.
• Capable of occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Open availability with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
