Job Summary:
As a member of the Brown & Brown (B&B) Analytics team, the Analyst will conduct analyses on many aspects of Health & Welfare benefits using the B&B claims data warehouse. This position serves as a specialist supporting client-facing teams.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Perform analyses of medical, pharmacy and other benefit programs using member-level data to identify relationships among demographics, utilization and outcomes
- Work with client teams to design analyses to support client strategies
- Create compelling analyses using data visualizations to demonstrate trends and areas of opportunity
- Work with client teams to interpret results and make recommendations to clients
- Obtain and maintain proficiency in the B&B data warehouse solution and serve as data warehouse expert for client teams.
- Assist in the management of the relationship with data warehouse vendor and support client implementations into the data warehouse
- Provide technical assistance for the firm’s projects and engagements related to case studies and/or white papers

Required Qualifications
- Industry experience, ideally 1+ years in data analytics and/or health and welfare consulting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong math and statistics skills
- Experience using SAS or equivalent
- BS or BA in relevant field
