Adventure Guide
Expired Job Description :We call our driver/guides “Adventure Guides” because they do just that: they guide our guests on an adventure they will remember forever. After greeting our guests with a warm, friendly smile on the cruise ship dock, they safely drive them out to our camps in Dyea while providing them with an entertaining tour along the way. While at camp, they ensure our guests are comfortable by maintaining the cleanliness of the camps by picking up litter, cleaning guest bathrooms, and keeping the refreshment area stocked. They also provide care to our superb canine athletes and puppies by feeding, watering, and scooping up after them. Our guides usually stay with our guests all throughout the excursion entertaining them along the way.
Requirements
Our adventure guides love going on adventures and enjoy taking our guests on them as well. This position has an extremely high level of guest interaction, so you’ve got to love people and have phenomenal customer service skills. The ability to lead a group along with excellent communication skills is also important. Our guides are great storytellers and are very good at keeping our guests entertained. The position is hands-on with dogs, so you’ve got to enjoy being around our four-legged friends as well. Finally, this is a CDL required position, so a clean driving record is a must. You do not need a CDL in order to apply for this position. We provide all the training needed in order to obtain one.
