Job Description : University Information Technology (UIT) Enterprise Application Support group is a team of dedicated IT professionals serving to bring departmental and UIT priorities together.

This position will play a key role in support of the customer relationship management software in the MSU Bozeman Admissions office and serve as the department reporting and technical expert for web marketing and admissions management. Additionally, as a direct report of the Enterprise Application Support Senior Manager this position will work closely with the UIT shared services to maintain UIT priorities. This position is full-time (40 hours a week) in-person on the MSU Bozeman campus.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, implement, and support comprehensive technical solutions for new and current Admissions processes.
  • Manage and expand the customer relationship management (CRM) software (Anthology Reach and Radius) based on Office of Admissions and UIT priorities.
  • Build and maintain email communication and scheduled engagement plans within the CRM.
  • Facilitate use of CRM and technical solutions in support of Office of Admissions large-scale events and programs.
  • Regularly produce reports in support of Office of Admissions operations.
  • Manage, organize, interpret, and analyze large data sets of prospective, applicant, and admit populations.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance student self service solutions.
  • Develop, plan, and implement usability, accessibility, and search engine optimization improvements for the Office of Admission.
  • Work with UIT ESG to manage integrations with third-party services and software.
  • Perform other duties as needed in support of the Office of Admission and UIT shared services.
  • Work within the four campus MSU structure to support Enterprise Applications including the Admissions CRM.

Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge &amp Skills
  • Education in computer science, information technology, or related field plus recent computer programming experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with CRM administration and management.
  • Demonstrated successful experience performing analysis of system specifications and developing requirements that lead to technical and software solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving functional technical software problems.


Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge &amp Skills
  • Experience working with strategic marketing and branding as they relate to admission marketing. Experience in target development and managing a large pipeline.
  • Experience developing reports using SQL.
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience building web applications with PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in higher education or complex multi-faceted organizations.
  • Experience managing third party relationships to maintain technical solutions.
