Rate of Pay: $24.25/hour

Scope of Position/Essential Functions:
- Schedule appointments and coordinate travel arrangements for SE and EDS employees and volunteers. Provide assistance to Field Representatives, Directors, and volunteers while traveling
- Act as liaison between Centers, Units & EDS while maintaining Confidentiality
- Have extensive knowledge of both programs to provide information to Officers, staff, volunteers, and divisional partners
- Maintain departmental relationships with SE Committee members/volunteers and EDS Tasks including performing full background checks, maintaining volunteer training records, providing follow-up/recognition to volunteers, and assisting in volunteer newsletters. Maintain all volunteer files in a secure location
- Maintain up-to-date and well-organized files on the Microsoft Teams, shared drives, and hard copies at DHQ
- Compose memos, letters, and reports for the EDS & SE Director
- Assists with social services software, NSS Reporting, and EDS Operations Reports
- Collect monthly statistics from SE Units, Centers, and EDS. All statistics must be turned in on time to TSA database(s)
- Compile/submit reports to the EDS & SE Director as needed
- Input Kettle income for each Unit into the Kettle Software in a timely manner while updating the Director on the progress daily. Reconcile all reporting at the end – giving the Director a full report
- Assist in the organization of annual SE / EDS conferences, training, seasonal efforts, and special events, including producing event/training materials
- Assists in the organization of Service Extension Camp. Send out camp information to all Units and Centers. Keep a file of all camp applications to make sure that they are complete and input all applications into the database Make arrangements for transportation for kids to camp
- Order supplies that are requested by Units and Centers, with the approval of the Director. Order supplies and submit invoices for both departments
- Assist with services to Units that are in need of DHQ assistance
- Serve as a Finance & Admin Chief or Liaison Officer role during divisional emergency/disaster relief efforts as needed
- Manages the reception area of the SE and EDS workstations
- Other duties as assigned by the EDS & SE Director
- Must maintain confidentiality.
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General knowledge of The Salvation Army is preferred.
