Administrative Assistant

- Support for business services including records management and case file management
- Shall provide support to the Directorates Safety and Security program
- Shall provide administrative support for the Information Technology (IT) requirements process and IT equipment account management
- Correspondence support including reviewing, coordination, and document distribution
- Time and attendance support including bi-monthly time data entry and consolidation of information
- Travel support to include travel order entry into the Defense Travel system and assistance with voucher processing
- Basic duties such as answering phones, scheduling conference rooms, maintaining customer schedules/calendars, supporting staff meetings
- Prepare a wide variety of recurring and some nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents and reviews and finalizes correspondence/documents prepared by others in handwritten or electronic drafts
- Review and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations and directives
- Screens incoming mail to identify what needs to be brought to the attention of leadership referred to appropriate staff, rerouted to other organizations/offices, or handled personally
- Ability to communicate with coworkers, military personnel, government civilians and other contractors all ranks and grades
- All other administrative support requirements are dependent on specific position requirements.
- At least 3 year of Administrative Assistant, or similar, experience
- Highly skilled in oral and written communications
- Very proficient using Microsoft Office tools (outlook, word, excel, etc)
- Must have an active Secret DoD Clearance or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
