About the Role & Team
Parks Retail is part of Disney Consumer Products and is comprised of several teams who work to grow the merchandise businesses at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Signature Experiences. The functions include Location Strategy, Retail Strategy and Marketing Integration, Planning and Inventory Management, Allocation, and Themed Buying. The teams work closely with other Merchandise functions, various Site teams, and other key partners. This role is critical to Parks Retail producing excellent work products and successfully growing the business.
The ideal candidate for this critical administrative position will actively demonstrate the following:

This position supports two Vice Presidents in Parks & Retail.
What You Will Do

Handle daily schedules, calendars, and meetings
-
Lead all travel arrangements and trip oversight including meeting coordination, as well all related expense management and processing
-
Coordinate/confirm all calendar matters, including internal/external meetings, and video conferences over multiple time zones
-
Assist with departmental tasks, including conference room requests, team events, employee recognition, and offsites
-
Manage and prepare documents including meeting agendas, presentation materials, and recap notes
-
Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
-
Interact with various internal departments, senior executives and their offices, as well as team members, external organizations, retailers, vendors, and others globally. Examples include: Departmental teams and admins within Parks Product Development & Retail as well as DCP Site teams, including offices of senior executives

Support basic office functions as required (such as ordering supplies, including hardware and software)

Promote teamwork both internally and externally, work outstandingly well with executives, staff, and external associates and visitors at all levels
-
Assist with special projects as needed

Perform other administrative duties as requested, or as responsibilities dictate
-
Process invoices in a timely manner
Required Qualifications & Skills
-
At least 3 years of executive support experience
-
Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly
-
Extremely comfortable working in fast-paced environments
-
Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
-
Ability to anticipate needs, and be proactive, resourceful and flexible
-
Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively with other executives, assistants, and staff at all levels
-
Exceptional organizational and follow-thru skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously

Effective communicator, both verbally and written

Proactive in thinking of ways to improve productivity and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Windows experience
-
SAP experience, including Casual Buyer
-
Experience working in an entertainment, design, or product creation environment
-
Experience working with international territories and time zones
-
Experience supporting teams in multiple locations
Education
-
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience
